Commander Lonan Makataime

Native to Gliese 433B, Lonan has always excelled at solving problems. Though he graduated from the Military and Science Institute of the Elysium Force with specialities in null grav fighting and covert operations, Lonan does not always see violence and destruction as the answer to every problem.

Enigmatic and charming in his own way, he is a natural born leader who quickly rises in the EF ranks. Until war breaks out and, feeling betrayed by the Coalition he’d once served, he joins the Aequitas Resistance. A movement determined to fight both the Coalition’s enemy, the dangerous Lupins, as well as the corruption with the Coalition itself.

It isn’t until a statistical near impossibility thrusts him in the Andromeda Galaxy with his “enemy,” the EF crew of the transverse ship Hooke, now acting as his peers, that Lonan is given the opportunity to reconcile his tumultuous past with the hope of a new future.

Of course, a certain woman from his Institute days also serves aboard the Hooke and her presence onboard brings with all sorts of mishaps and misunderstandings as the fierce warrior has not a clue regarding Evelyn Rameau’s long-standing crush.
